Job summary

WeCare Centers in Montoursville, PA is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to support residents’ mobility and progression. You will assist the physical therapist by implementing treatment plans, adjusting exercises, and using modalities to improve function in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited PTA program and a current PA PTA license; outpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PTA program.
• Current State PTA license (Pennsylvania).
• Outpatient experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make modifications to treatments as directed by the PT to help progression and safety.
• Prepare patients and equipment, implement treatment plans including exercise and modalities.
• Record patient responses and provide status reports after each session.
• Utilize assistive devices to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.
