Job summary

WeCare Centers in Franklin, PA is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team and help residents improve mobility and movement. You will work under a physical therapist to implement plans and monitor progress.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited PTA program with an active State PTA license; outpatient experience is preferred and competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA Program.
• Current State PTA License.
• Outpatient experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make modifications to treatments as directed by the physical therapist to help the patient progress or to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans as instructed, including exercise, stretching, applying modalities, and functional mobility training.
• Record patient's reaction to treatment and providing status reports at the end of each treatment.
• Use assistive devices and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.
