WeCare Centers in Montoursville, PA, is seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to support residents in improving mobility and comfort. The PTA collaborates with physical therapists to tailor treatment plans and help patients move forward.

This role emphasizes outpatient care readiness, proper documentation, and using assistive devices to reduce pain. The ideal candidate will have an accredited PTA program background and an active state license, with outpatient experience preferred.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current State PTA License.
• Outpatient experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Modify treatments as directed by the physical therapist to support progress and safety.
• Prepare patients and equipment and implement treatment plans including exercise and modalities.
• Record patient responses and provide status updates after each session.
• Use assistive devices to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.

Key Responsibilities

• Making modifications to treatments as directed by the physical therapist to help the patient progress or to ensure patient safety and comfort.

• Preparing patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans as instructed, including exercise, stretching, applying modalities, and functional mobility training.

• Recording patient's reaction to treatment and providing status reports at the end of each treatment.

• Using assistive devices and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Graduate of an accredited PTA Program.

• Current State PTA License.

• Outpatient experience is preferred.
