Job summary

WeCare Centers in Franklin, PA is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to help residents improve mobility and move forward. The PTA assists the physical therapy team under the direction of a licensed PT, contributing to patient progress and comfort.

The role focuses on preparing patients, assisting with exercises, modalities, and mobility training; documenting responses; and supporting the team with safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA Program.
• Current State PTA License.
• Outpatient experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modify treatments as directed by the physical therapist to help patients progress or ensure safety and comfort.
• Prepare patients and equipment for therapy and implement treatment plans, including exercise, stretching, modalities, and functional mobility training.
• Record patient responses to treatment and provide status reports at the end of each treatment.
• Use assistive devices and equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.
