Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have an associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Minnesota state license or eligibility required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and documentation procedures.
• Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physical therapist in evaluating and treating patients with a variety of conditions.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises to improve strength, mobility, and range of motion.
• Monitor and document patients' progress and report changes to the physical therapist.
• Educate patients and families on proper techniques for exercise and home progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and ensure equipment is in good working order.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the physical therapist in evaluating and treating patients with a variety of conditions, including injuries, disabilities, and illnesses
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and activities to improve their strength, mobility, and range of motion
• Monitor and document patients' progress and report any changes to the physical therapist
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercise and activities to continue their progress at home
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient

Qualifications:
