Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the licensed Physical Therapist in evaluating and treating residents according to their therapy plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises to improve strength, ROM, and function.
• Monitor and document residents' progress and communicate changes to the PT.
• Instruct and educate residents and families on home exercises.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy services.

The client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic services to our residents. Your role will be crucial in helping our residents regain their strength, mobility, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the licensed Physical Therapist in evaluating and treating residents according to their individualized therapy plans
• Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to improve residents' strength, range of motion, and function
• Monitor and document residents' progress and communicate with the Physical Therapist about any changes or concerns
• Instruct and educate residents and their families on therapeutic exercises and techniques to continue at home
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for residents
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all therapy services provided
