Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed PT. The PTA will implement selected components of patient interventions and treatments, ensuring adherence to standards and patient safety.

The role requires an unrestricted PTA license, a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and reliable transportation with insurance. Experience in home health and DME knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current unrestricted PTA license (state-specific).
• Current unrestricted Driver’s License.
• CPR certification (current).
• Reliable Transportation with valid auto liability insurance.
• Experience as required by the State Board to treat patients in their homes.
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment appropriate for home PT needs.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision and direction of the licensed physical therapist.
• Implement selected components of patient interventions and treatments.
• Support home health treatment plans and document care per policy.
