Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in Russell, KS. The PTA will implement treatment components and support patient interventions in the home setting, adhering to professional standards.

The ideal candidate holds a CAPTE-accredited PTA degree, a state PTA license, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current unrestricted PTA license (state-specific).
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation with valid auto liability insurance.
• Experience as required by state board to treat patients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision and direction of the licensed physical therapist.
• Implement selected components of patient interventions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation per policy.
• Communicate with patients, families, and caregivers to support therapy goals.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment for home health interventions.
