Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver patient care in home health settings under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. You will implement selected components of interventions and treatments to support recovery and functional goals.

The PTA must be CAPTE-accredited, hold an unrestricted PTA license, have a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and reliable transportation for home visits.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current unrestricted PTA license or certification (state specific).
• Current unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Experience as required by current practicing State Board to treat patients in their homes.
• Therapy skills consistent with generally accepted standards of practice according to the APTA.
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment appropriate for patients with physical therapy needs.
• Proof of current CPR certification.
• Reliable Transportation with valid and current auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision and direction of the licensed physical therapist.
• Implement selected components of patient interventions and treatments.
• Support patient progress and maintain documentation as required by the supervising PT.
