Job summary

The Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full‑time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our geriatric care team. You will assist the PT with mobility‑focused therapies in a skilled nursing setting, evaluating and treating residents with independence and compassion.

Applicants must hold an active PTA license in the state of practice and be able to work without direct supervision. Benefits include insurance, fringe and Plum Benefits, plus KinderCare discounts.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently without direct supervision.
• Experience with geriatric population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support activities to promote fitness and wellness for residents.
• Document progress and respond to patient needs per protocol.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Job Description:

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• SNF experience preferred but not required
