Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Forest Hills, TN is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our geriatric-focused team in a skilled nursing facility. The PTA will work under the supervision of the PT to implement individualized treatment plans and help residents regain mobility.

We welcome a candidate who is passionate about geriatrics, capable of evaluating and treating residents with independence, and who meets the state PTA licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Geriatrics passion and ability to work independently.
• Experience in SNF preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Provide therapy services in a skilled nursing facility.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Job Description:

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
