Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to assist in patient treatment under the direction of physical staff. You will help prepare treatment areas, monitor patient responses, and educate patients on exercises and equipment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least one year of PT experience; familiarity with HIPAA and insurance processes is preferred. A collaborative, confidentiality-minded approach is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of physical therapy experience; medical office experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, insurance regulations, policies, procedures.
• Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, staff and public.

Responsibilities

• Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment.
• Observe patients and report progress to physical therapist.
• Instruct and assist patients with exercises and activities under supervision.
• Discuss and coordinate treatment with physical therapy staff.
• Transport patients as needed and prepare treatment area for sessions.
• Educate patients on equipment and exercise routines and protect confidentiality.

Education
