Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team dedicated to patient care in Indiana. You will assist clinicians, help with intake and scheduling, and support therapists by preparing treatment spaces and guiding patients through home exercise programs.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to physical therapy practices, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to grow in healthcare skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience.
• Preferred: Healthcare experience in PT/PTA, Medical Assistant, hospital, or fitness industry; Certified Personal Trainer experience; experience/education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Assist onboarding of new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
