Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy in Oro Valley, AZ is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join a patient‑focused team. You will assist clinicians, support patient check‑in, onboarding, and scheduling, and help prepare treatment areas and exercise equipment.

You will monitor progress and help patients perform prescribed home exercises, gaining hands‑on PT exposure through hands‑on training and mentorship.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required; 18+ years old.
  • Healthcare or customer service experience preferred.
  • Preferred: healthcare-related studies or PT-related coursework.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
  • Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
  • Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
  • Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
  • Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
  • Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
