Athletico in Oak Brook is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to assist clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator. You will greet patients, support therapists during treatments, and handle routine administrative tasks in a compliant, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, documenting effectively, and maintaining clinic spaces. The role emphasizes teamwork, compassion for patients, and attention to detail in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate and or intern preferred.
• Work Experience: Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred.
• Knowledge and Technical Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills—written and verbal; Ability to clearly document all projects and manage production; Attention to detail and time management; Patient/Client satisfaction; Energetic and a team player; Compassion toward patients; Complete tasks thoroughly; Basic knowledge of office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists during treatment.
• Safeguards and motivates patients during exercises.
• Provides routine treatments such as hot/cold packs and modalities like Ultrasounds, Electrical stimulation.
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment.
• Washes linens/towels and maintains linen cabinets.
• Restocks restrooms and supplies.
• Assists patient experience coordinator with answering phones, scheduling appointments and filing paperwork.
• May order inventory and track supplies for the clinic.
