Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy in Bellmore, NY is seeking a Physical Therapist Aide to join a collaborative outpatient team. You will assist therapists, document therapeutic exercises, prepare heat/cold therapy, and support patients throughout sessions.

Hours are Monday–Thursday 1pm–8pm. The role includes front desk coverage, equipment maintenance, and patient education while upholding confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Anatomy & Kinesiology.
• Ability to observe, evaluate, and record patient conditions.
• Strong communication and patient-facing skills.
• Ability to maintain records and support front-desk duties.

Responsibilities

• Scribe for recording and editing therapeutic exercises under supervision.
• Prepare heat/cold therapy and assist patients with pool access and exercises.
• Educate patients on proper equipment use and exercise routines.
• Assist with front desk duties and scheduling as needed.
• Maintain equipment and supplies and ensure a clean, safe treatment area.
• Answer calls from physicians, hospitals, and patients with excellent service.
