Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, Georgia, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our Rehab team on weekends. You will evaluate and treat patients across ages, design treatment plans, and collaborate with PT assistants to restore function and reduce pain.

The role requires a Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (BS, MS, or DPT) and current Georgia license or compact privileges, with BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT required.
• Must maintain current CEUs as required by the State.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services to a designated patient group; evaluate, modalities, and treatments to restore function and reduce pain.
• Care for patients across all ages including pediatric, adult, and geriatric; supervise PT assistants.
• May orient and guide assigned staff.

Responsibilities:

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
