Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services to a diverse patient population. You will conduct evaluations, plan and administer treatments, and collaborate with PT assistants to improve functional outcomes.

The role includes a Friday-Monday style weekend schedule with one weekend shift per month and cross-training for inpatient support. Experience with pediatric to geriatric patients is valued, along with a commitment to excellence

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (BS, MS, or DPT) per state requirements.
• Must maintain current CEUs as required by the state.
• Two years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services for a designated group of patients; help them achieve the highest level of independence.
• Perform evaluations, modalities and treatments to restore function and relieve pain.
• Care for patients across pediatric, adult and geriatric populations and supervise staff when needed.

Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
