Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient services in Athens, GA. You will provide comprehensive physical therapy to diverse patient populations, evaluating and treating individuals to improve function and reduce pain.

The role requires a Georgia PT license (or compacts) and ongoing CEU compliance. This full-time position offers collaboration with PT assistants, opportunities to mentor staff, and a patient-centered approach to care within a supportive team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required.
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants.
• May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
