Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a physical therapist to provide evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function and relieve pain across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities include care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants and potential orientation of staff. Must hold a Georgia Physical Therapist license (or compact) and maintain current BCLS certification; BS/MS/DPT from an accredited program is required. Two years of experience preferred.
Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
