Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a licensed physical therapist or occupational therapist to supervise Rehab Services and lead daily operations. The role includes staff supervision, program development, and coordination of patient care from evaluation to treatment, with emphasis on evidence-based practice and policy implementation.

Candidates must hold a BS/BA, MS, or doctorate in PT or OT, have at least three years of practice, be licensed, and maintain BCLS certification.

• Schedule: Full time days 8:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m

Responsibilities

Supervises Rehab Services daily activities. Coordinates and supervises staff and clinical affiliates, treatments and activity schedule. Assists in planning and establishing policies and procedures and development of new programs. Trains and monitors competency of new and current personnel. Assists in staff performance evaluations. Direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as dictated by census with a negative variance. Assists Director in management of department and assumes any delegated assignments.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Graduate from an approved school with a BS or BA degree, Masters, or doctorate degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy
• Three years experience as a practicing physical therapist.
• Licensed by the professional licensing board of state.
• BCLS for healthcare provider’s certification upon hire and maintain current.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $91,852.80 to $133,036.80on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
