Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL, seeks a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor to lead the Acute Care Rehabilitation team. The role oversees daily activities, coordinates staff, and supports program development while ensuring high-quality patient care under the department head.

Requirements include a BS/BA (PT or OT) with advanced degree options, at least three years as a practicing physical therapist, state licensure, and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school with a BS/BA in physical therapy or occupational/occupational therapy.
• Three years experience as a practicing physical therapist.
• Licensed by the state licensing board.
• BCLS for healthcare provider certification on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Rehab Services daily activities and coordinates staff and clinical affiliates.
• Assists in planning and establishing policies and procedures and development of new programs.
• Trains and monitors competency of staff and conducts performance evaluations.
• Direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as dictated by census.
• Assists Director in department management and delegates as needed.
