Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist in Washington state to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, with a focus on orthopedic and neurologic conditions. The role involves designing care plans, documenting outcomes, and educating patients and families.

A sign-on bonus is offered and continuing education is encouraged. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent) and a valid PT license, with BLS certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with applicable state license.
• BLS certification within 30 days (American Heart Association).
• Continuing education in acute stroke care as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in transfers with proper body mechanics to ensure safety.
• Treat patients empathetically while maintaining dignity and engagement.
• Design and adjust care plans based on patient response and evidence.
• Educate patients and caregivers using effective teaching methods.
• Assess clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Perform examinations with valid methods and document results.
• Document care per CTSCP67 policy.
• Screen for therapy needs and coordinate with staff.
