Life Care Centers of America seeks a Physical Therapist to provide direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients based on physician referral. Serve in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting with an interdisciplinary team and Life Care standards.

New grads welcome; 401(k), vacation, holiday, personal day, and comprehensive benefits are offered, along with a $12,000 sign-on bonus for eligible positions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (BSPT/MSPT/DPT).
• Current state license in good standing and maintain active status.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates may apply.
• CPR certification required at hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients.
• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals.
• Oversee care by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and PT/PTA students.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software and provide excellent service to patients.
• Assist in patient evacuation when needed.
• Demonstrate dependable attendance and teamwork.
• Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
