University Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient sports medicine team. You will provide evidence-based care for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and performance-related conditions.

You will collaborate with rehabilitation professionals to help patients return to peak function, wellness, and performance while maintaining comprehensive documentation and staying updated with best practices in sports medicine.

Formación

• DPT or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy license in Virginia.
• Preferred: 1+ years in outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with sports-related injuries, orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions.
• Deliver hands‑on therapy and prescribe therapeutic exercises to restore function, strength, and mobility.
• Educate patients on injury and fall risk prevention, recovery strategies, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and interdisciplinary team members in the community to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in sports medicine and rehabilitation.
