Work with a collaborative rehab team, educate patients on injury prevention, and document care in compliance with regulations. New graduates encouraged; VA license required; 1+ year ortho/sports preferred.

Qualifications

• DPT or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license.
• 1+ years outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on therapy and prescribe therapeutic exercises to restore function, strength, and mobility.
• Educate patients on injury and fall risk prevention, recovery strategies, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and interdisciplinary team members in the community to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in sports medicine and rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active Physical Therapy license in Virginia.
• Experience:
  • Preferred: 1+ years in outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine.
  • New graduates with strong interest in outpatient orthopedics and sports rehab are encouraged to apply.
