University Physical Therapy in Virginia is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient sports medicine team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and performance-related conditions.

This role emphasizes evidence-based care, collaboration with physicians and rehab colleagues, and staying current with sports medicine advances. A DPT and Virginia license are required; 1+ year outpatient experience preferred, new grads

Qualifications

• DPT or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy license in Virginia.
• New graduates encouraged to apply or 1+ year outpatient experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with sports-related injuries and orthopedic conditions.
• Deliver hands-on therapy and prescribe therapeutic exercises to restore function, strength, and mobility.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in sports medicine and rehabilitation.
