Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active Physical Therapy license in Virginia.
• Experience: 1+ years in outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with sports injuries, orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions.
• Deliver hands-on therapy and prescribe therapeutic exercises.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and rehabilitation team to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay current with best practices in sports medicine and rehabilitation.

You will work in a collaborative environment with other rehabilitation professionals to help patients return to peak function, wellness and performance.

Key Responsibilities
