Riverside Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic conditions in inpatient and/or outpatient settings. The role reports to Rehab Services and collaborates with diverse health professionals.

The position requires a Virginia license, CPR/BLS certification within 30 days, and a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy is preferred. On-site work in Onancock, VA with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia (VDHP).
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Performs evaluations and determines PT diagnoses, and develops the plan of care.
• Provides physical therapy procedures to restore function and mobility and relieve pain.
• Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team and participates in team meetings.
• Educates patients and families about the recovery process and discharge planning.
