Job summary

Riverside Health System is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Newport News, Virginia. You will perform evaluations, develop plans of care, and provide therapeutic interventions to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve daily function in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and at least one year of PT experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.

• 1 year Physical Therapy experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations, determines PT diagnoses, develops plan of care, and performs physical therapy procedures to aid in restoring function and improving mobility.
• Evaluates and reassesses patients timely and in accordance with guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Updates and revises the plan of care in consultation with the physician and team members.
• Supervises PTAs and HHAs and completes supervisory documentation as required.
• Participates in team meetings and supports training of team members and students.
