Job summary

Riverside Health System in Virginia is seeking a Physical Therapist to implement individualized programs for patients with acute and chronic conditions in inpatient and/or outpatient settings. The Therapist works under Rehab Services management and collaborates with a broad health-care team.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, diagnosing PT issues, developing and adjusting plans of care, documenting progress, educating patients and families, and supporting training of team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (Required).
• Virginia license to practice Physical Therapy upon hire (Required).
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days (Required).
• 1 year Physical Therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations, determines PT diagnoses, and develops plan of care.
• Delivers PT interventions to restore function, mobility, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
• Evaluates patients promptly per guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team and educates patients and families.
• Records progress and adjusts the plan of care as needed.
