Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Virginia Physical Therapy license required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations, determines PT diagnoses, and develops plan of care.
• Performs physical therapy procedures to aid in restoring function, mobility, and reducing pain.
• Evaluates patient timely per guidelines and policies.
• Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team and participates in meetings.
• Assists in training and supporting team members and students.
• Carries out and modifies the treatment plan to meet discharge criteria.
• Records progress and updates the plan of care.
• Uses testing results to update the care plan based on evidence-based guidelines.
• Educates patients and families about the recovery process.
