Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) is actively seeking Physical Therapists to join our outpatient rehabilitation team across the Chicagoland area. New grads are welcome, with a two- to three-month mentorship period to ease transitioning to a full caseload.

The practice offers competitive compensation ($83,000 to $110,000 per year), quarterly bonuses up to $11,500, a sign-on bonus, profit sharing, a $2,000 CE allowance, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to work closely with orthopedic

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment
• Demonstrates ability to lift 25 pounds and move throughout the workday
• Experience with electronic medical records and other computer systems

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician orders - Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals
• Provide exceptional, evidence-based patient care
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans and goals as appropriate
• Establish appropriate discharge plans and follow-up recommendations
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, progress notes, discharges, and home exercise programs
• Maintain compliance with billing requirements and ethical billing practices
• Collaborate and develop positive relationships with the physicians team at IBJI
• Supervise and provide direction to Rehabilitation Technicians and other support staff as appropriate
• Maintain an active Illinois Physical Therapy license and complete required CEUs
• Participate in professional development opportunities, including mentoring, clinical education, special interest groups, and community outreach
• Other duties as assigned
