Job summary

Sterling Therapy Providers is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to organize and conduct physical therapy programs, directing patient participation to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. The PT will promote independence and productivity while maintaining health and safety in the facility.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, crafting treatment plans, training residents in mobility, and collaborating with the rehab team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education and the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents, develops treatment goals and plans, and completes documentation for physical therapy services.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices and trains residents in their use, including orthotics and prosthetics.
• Selects appropriate physical agent modalities based on patient needs and diagnosis.
• Consults with the rehab team to choose suitable therapeutic regimens.
• Instructs residents in mobility skills and evaluates progress and rehabilitative potential.
• Maintains a safe environment and supports ongoing resident care and team meetings.
