Job summary

Sterling Therapy Providers is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide rehabilitation services in a facility setting. The role emphasizes evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation to promote independence and mobility for residents.

The position is full-time with competitive hourly wages ($45–$53) and PRN opportunities. Overtime, benefits, and supportive team collaboration are available to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist or eligible for licensure in the state.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents, develops treatment goals and plans, and completes documentation for therapy services.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices and trains residents in their use.
• Selects physical agent modalities suited to individual needs and diagnoses.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation team to choose appropriate regimens.
• Instructs residents in mobility skills and evaluates progress and engagement.
• Adapts therapy programs to resident needs and safety.
• Maintains a safe environment and addresses hazards.
• Attends care conferences and related meetings.
• Supervises support staff per state and professional standards.
• Conducts training programs for staff in physical therapy techniques.
• Orders supplies and equipment as necessary.
• Performs equipment maintenance and reporting of repairs.
• Ensures high quality service and compassionate care for residents.
