Sterling Therapy Providers in Wisconsin seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to organize and conduct rehabilitation programs, guiding residents in tasks to restore mobility and independence while promoting health.

The PT evaluates residents, develops treatment goals, designs adaptive devices, coordinates with the rehab team, ensures safety, and provides training to staff to maintain high standards of care.

Formación

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as required by the state.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates residents, develops goals, implements the PT plan, and completes documentation.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices, trains residents in their use (orthotics/prosthetics).
• Selects physical agent modalities suited to the individual’s needs and capabilities.
• Consults with rehab team to select the best therapeutic regimen.
• Instructs residents in mobility skills and evaluates progress and attitudes.
• Adapts program to meet individual resident needs.
• Promotes a safe environment and eliminates hazards.
• Attends care conferences and related meetings.
• Supervises supportive personnel per state/professional standards.
• Orders supplies and equipment as necessary.
• Cleans, maintains, and reports need for equipment repair.
• Ensures residents and families receive high-quality service.
• Participates in training of medical, nursing and other personnel in PT techniques.

Conocimientos

Good organizational skills

Licensed/licensure eligible

Educación

Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum
