Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join Pivot at The Madison on Marsh in Carrollton, Texas. This PRN position offers competitive pay and a path to impactful patient care within a supportive therapy team.

Responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and treating patients; developing treatment plans and measurable goals; reviewing records; and collaborating with PT assistants and rehab techs. A PT license in Texas and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of current practice.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally to patients, patients’ family members, and staff.
• Must be capable of performing the Responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats Patients.
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures.
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindication.
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward maximum independence and/or function.
• Supervises physical therapist assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members.
