Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for the Pivot at Windemere in Westover Hills, San Antonio, TX. This full-time position offers a competitive pay package and a $7,000 sign-on bonus or relocation assistance for FT staff, with the option of part-time for some openings.

The PT will screen, evaluate, and treat patients, develop treatment plans, supervise assistants, and communicate progress to patients and families. A current Texas PT license is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of practice.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff.
• Must be capable of performing the Responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats Patients
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindication
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward his or her maximum level of independence and/or function
• Supervises physical therapist assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members
