Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking PRN Physical Therapists to support patient care at Coronado at Stone Oak, Windemere at Westover Hills, Sorrento, and Sundance Inn Health Center in San Antonio.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy with current Texas licensure; possess strong communication skills and the ability to evaluate, plan, and supervise others per state rules. This PRN role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients.

Essential Functions

• Screens, evaluates, and treats Patients
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindication
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward his or her maximum level of independence and/or function
• Supervises physical therapist assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy
• Current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of current practice
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff
