Pivot Rehabilitation in Houston, TX seeks a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for PRN coverage at Pivot at Solera in West Houston. You will screen, evaluate, and treat patients, develop goals and treatment plans, and work with the rehab team to maximize patient independence.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Essential Functions:

• Screens, evaluates, and treats Patients
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindication
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward his or her maximum level of independence and/or function
• Supervises physical therapist assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy
• Current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of current practice
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients' family members, and staff
