Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT) at BAYADA Home Health Care

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for full-time or per diem roles throughout Baltimore County, Maryland.

Note: The per diem position requires current home health and OASIS experience.

As a home care Physical Therapist, you will be a vital part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing, enabling clients to stay at home safely and comfortably.

Responsibilities:

1. Make home visits to clients within designated geographic areas.
2. Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, including mobility assessments, strength and endurance evaluations, balance testing, and safety assessments.
3. Develop and implement individualized care plans with manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions.
4. Assess and update care plans regularly, collaborating with nursing staff as needed.
5. Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative activities to promote health, safety, and independence.
6. Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately using electronic tablets.

Qualifications:

1. Current Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license.
2. Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association-approved program.
3. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
4. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficiency with computers; prior EMR experience preferred.
