Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Inpatient Rehab Therapy team. This PRN role requires weekend shifts and holiday coverage, providing flexible scheduling for qualified clinicians.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• VA licensure or compact privileges at start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at start.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Inpatient Rehab Therapy team. This role will be PRN - 5 weekend shifts per quarter with at least one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) per month, and 1 Inova recognized holiday per year. As a Physical Therapist, you will have access to state-of-the-art technologies with dedicated clinical specialists and 1:1 mentoring.

Physical Therapist(PT) Job Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensure: Physical Therapist upon start (VA licensure or compact privileges)
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association upon start

Preferred Qualification:

• Physical Therapist (PT) experience
