Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our therapy team providing in-home services to children aged 0-21. You will assess, plan, and implement PT interventions in patients' homes or daytime facilities, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires TX licensure, pediatric experience, and a passion for mentoring families. We offer full-time benefits and opportunities for professional development in a therapist-owned practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy.
• License to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas.
• Experience in pediatrics required (New grads must have a minimum of 6 weeks of pediatric OT experience - can include internship).
• Home health experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Must carry valid auto insurance and drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define the patients degree and type of physical and gross motor impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct the team in specific physical therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with the total physical therapy program
• May provide supervision to Certified Physical Therapy Assistants
