Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist in Austin, TX, to perform patient evaluations and provide and document therapy services according to the care plan and physician orders where applicable.

The role requires a current PT license in the state, graduation from an accredited PT program, and may prefer 1 year of professional PT experience. CPR may be required, with health clearance and regulatory compliance also expected.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• One year of professional PT experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate as per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Follow physician orders when applicable.

Location: Austin, TX

The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patientevaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services inaccordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient andphysician’s orders when applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state ofpractice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapyexperience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
