BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Acute Care Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT). You will perform examinations and develop plans of care to support patient recovery.

Candidates must have a PT degree and Texas licensure with BLS within 14 days of hire; sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance may be available. Join a multi-disciplinary team focused on Christian care and patient-centered outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document examinations and evaluations.
• Establish functional PT diagnosis, prognoses, and plans of care.
• Formulate treatment goals.
• Provide physical therapy intervention to patients.
• Measure and report outcomes.
• Formulate and carry out discharge plans.
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed assigned staff or students.
• Interact and practice in collaboration with other professionals.
• Individuals must comply with the Texas Physical Therapy Practice Acts and Rules.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Baccalaureate, Master, or Doctorate Degree of Physical Therapy.
• Current Texas Licensure to practice Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Physical Therapy experience in an acute care hospital and/or rehabilitation facility with participation in a multi-disciplinary team.
