Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Amarillo, TX seeks a day shift, full-time Acute Care Inpatient Physical Therapist to join our team and deliver inpatient rehabilitation.

You will examine and treat patients, establish care plans, document outcomes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Must have Texas PT license and BLS within 14 days of hire; sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance may apply.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate, Master, or Doctorate Degree of Physical Therapy.
• Current Texas Licensure to practice Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document examinations and evaluations.
• Establish functional PT diagnosis, prognoses, and plans of care.
• Formulate treatment goals and carry out interventions.
• Measure and report outcomes and discharge plans.
• Supervise assigned staff or students.
• Collaborate with other professionals and comply with Texas PT Acts.

Responsibilities

• Individuals must comply with the Texas Physical Therapy Practice Acts and Rules.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Baccalaureate, Master, or Doctorate Degree of Physical Therapy.
• Current Texas Licensure to practice Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Physical Therapy experience in an acute care hospital and/or rehabilitation facility with participation in a multi-disciplinary team.
