Job summary

Join our team at BSA Health System as a day shift, full-time Wound Care/Mobility Physical Therapist in Amarillo, TX. You will provide wound care and mobility assessments, document examinations and evaluations, and develop plans of care.

You must have a PT degree (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate), be licensed in Texas, and obtain BLS within 14 days. Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance are available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist degree from an accredited program (Bachelors, Masters, or DPT).
• Current Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Mix of wound care and acute care mobility assessments.
• Provide and document examinations and evaluations.
• Establish functional PT diagnosis and prognoses, and plans of care.
• Formulate treatment goals for patients.
• Provide physical therapy interventions.
• Measure and report patient outcomes.
• Formulate and carry out discharge plans.
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff or students.
• Collaborate with other professionals and adhere to Texas Physical Therapy Practice Acts and Rules.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Previous acute care or clinic experience.
• Prior wound care and mobility assessment experience
