BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Wound Care/Mobility Physical Therapist to join our team. You will assess wounds and mobility, document evaluations, and develop plans of care to improve patient outcomes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsabilidades

• This position will primarily be responsible for a mix of wound care and acute care mobility assessments
• Provide and document examinations and evaluations
• Establish functional PT diagnosis, prognoses and plans of care
• Formulate treatment goals
• Provide physical therapy intervention to patients
• Measure and report outcomes
• Formulate and carry out discharge plans
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed assigned staff or students
• Interact and practice in collaboration with other professionals and ensure compliance with Texas PT Practice Acts and Rules

• Previous acute care or clinic experience.
