Job summary

Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist PRN to join the inpatient team. You will deliver comprehensive PT services, evaluate patients aged 12 and up, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual goals.

The role includes documentation, team communication, and supervision of staff and students. Qualified candidates will have inpatient rehab experience, Virginia license eligibility, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Licensed or eligible for Virginia PT license.
• CPR certification for healthcare professionals.
• Doctoral degree in physical therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services.
• Evaluate patients ages 12+ and develop/implement treatment plans.
• Document care and communicate with the care team.
• Supervise therapy staff and students as needed.
• Rotates through clinical areas as required.

Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist PRN to join the inpatient team. The Physical Therapist provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered physical therapy services including patient examination (ages 12+), development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers. May rotate through clinical areas.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience/expertise in inpatient rehabilitation

Education/Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy educational program required.
• Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required.
• Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.
• Doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy programs and/or specialty practice certification preferred.

Compensation

• Pay Rate: Physical Therapist PRN - $55.00 per hour
• These rates reflect our commitment to pay equity and market-competitive compensation.
• Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.
