Job summary

Sheltering Arms Institute seeks a full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist at the Hanover Center to treat neurological conditions and support patient-centered care.

The PT will examine patients aged 12+, develop and administer treatment plans, document outcomes, and collaborate with team members while supervising staff and students as needed. Licensing in Virginia or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation.
• Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility required.
• Healthcare CPR certification required.
• Doctoral degree from accredited PT programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality outpatient physical therapy services including patient examination (ages 12+).
• Develop and administer treatment plans and document patient progress.
• Communicate with team members and supervise licensed/non-licensed staff as directed.

Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. This position is based out of the Hanover Center and will treat neurological conditions. The Physical Therapist provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered physical therapy services including patient examination (ages 12+), development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers. May rotate through clinical areas.

Qualifications And Skills

• Experience/expertise in outpatient rehabilitation preferred

Education/Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy educational program required.
• Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required.
• Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.
• Doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy programs and/or specialty practice certification preferred.

Compensation

• $38.00 - $56.00 per hour
• This range reflects our commitment to pay equity and market-competitive compensation.
• Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.
